Trump names Lt Gen HR McMaster as national security adviser

US President Donald Trump has named Lt Gen HR McMaster as his national security adviser.
He will replace Lt Gen Michael Flynn who was fired after just three weeks and three days in the job.
A lieutenant general with the US Army, HR McMaster served in Iraq and Afghanistan, where he worked on a government anti-corruption drive.
Mr Trump's first choice, retired Vice Admiral Robert Harward, turned down the role, citing "personal reasons".
Mr Trump has praised Herbert Raymond McMaster as "a man of tremendous talent and tremendous experience" who is "highly respected by everybody in the military".
Gen McMaster served in Afghanistan and Iraq, and is known as a thoughtful, if straight-talking, military strategist, the BBC's Aleem Maqbool reports from Washington.

What should a person do if he feels that his death is approaching?

Are there any signs before a person dies, whether he is a believer or a disbeliever? Are there any specific times for those signs?
If it becomes apparent to him that his death is approaching, what should he do? When should we pay attention to these signs if there is such a thing?
Is there any way to reduce the agonies of death?
What are the best righteous deeds that one may be advised to adhere to?

Praise be to Allah.
Firstly:
No one knows exactly when he will die, or in what land he will die. Allah, may He be exalted, says (interpretation of the meaning):
“Verily, Allah! With Him (Alone) is the knowledge of the Hour, He sends down the rain, and knows that which is in the wombs. No person knows what he will earn tomorrow, and no person knows in what land he will die. Verily, Allah is All-Knower, All-Aware (of things)”
[Luqmaan 31:34]
See also the answers to questions no. 100451 and 180876
Secondly:
There are no specific signs by which a person may know that his death and the end of his life are approaching. This is by the mercy of Allah towards His slaves, for if a person knew when he was going to die, and he knew that repentance expiates the sins that come before it, perhaps he might indulge in sins and commit evil deeds, and promise himself that one hour before his death he will repent and give up his sin. But such a person does not deserve to be a slave of Allah; rather he is a slave to his whims and desires.

Death in a dynasty: What led to the demise of Kim Jong-nam?

Kim Jong-nam was the eldest son of late North Korean leader Kim Jong-il and the elder half-brother of current leader Kim Jong-un.
Jong-nam was born in May 1971 in Pyongyang. His mother was North Korea's film actress Song Hye-rim. She was the daughter of South Korean communist intellectuals who migrated to the North during the Korean War.
She was four or five years older than Kim Jong-il and was still married to another man (with whom she had a child) when they began their romantic relationship.
By the conservative standards of North Korean society, this was a fairly sordid relationship, and for many years Kim Jong-il concealed his common law wife and new son from his father, Kim Il-sung. (Have a small look ,coming soon)
At the time of Kim Jong-nam's birth, Kim Jong-il was the leading candidate to succeed his father, and details of his relationship with Ms Song, if they had become public, could have derailed his ambitions (particularly as his nearest political rival was his despised stepmother).

Kim Jong-nam: Post-mortem finished on leader's brother

A post-mortem examination has been completed on the body of Kim Jong-nam, the brother of North Korean leader Kim Jong-un.
Mr Kim died on Monday after apparently being poisoned while waiting to board a flight in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
One woman is due to appear in court on Thursday, and a second woman has now been arrested, police say.
There is widespread speculation that North Korea was behind the killing, but there has been no confirmation.

Trump aides were in constant touch with senior Russian officials during campaign

High-level advisers close to then-presidential nominee Donald Trump were in constant communication during the campaign with Russians known to US intelligence, multiple current and former intelligence, law enforcement and administration officials tell CNN.
President-elect Trump and then-President Barack Obama were both briefed on details of the extensive communications between suspected Russian operatives and people associated with the Trump campaign and the Trump business, according to US officials familiar with the matter.

Both the frequency of the communications during early summer and the proximity to Trump of those involved "raised a red flag" with US intelligence and law enforcement, according to these officials. The communications were intercepted during routine intelligence collection targeting Russian officials and other Russian nationals known to US intelligence.

12 Super Sunnah’s We Should Seriously start to Follow

12 Super Sunnah’s We Should Seriously start to Follow

Quick question to refresh our minds: who was Prophet Muhammad (S)? As Muslims, we believe he was the last and final messenger of the Creator to mankind. His life is an example for generations after generations until the end of time on how to live in a pure and humble way, with the worship of Allah Taala the Creator as our purpose and pivotal role.
The word “sunnah” is used to describe the life and teachings of the Prophet (S). The sunnah is an ultimate guidance for leading a productive, successful life. Sometimes we neglect the sunnah, however, and we find ourselves googling “how to be successful/smart/productive”, while the sunnah of the Prophet (S) has provided us with gems on how to do just that. Better yet, the Prophet (S) said:
Not only for our personal gain but out of love for our beloved Prophet (S), we should try to live our life by the sunnah as much as possible. We should be active in learning about the life of the final messenger to mankind . While engaging in knowing about the life of a person, your love and respect for him grow. Similarly, when learning about the Prophet (S), you will find hundreds of stories, attributes and habits that will be beneficial for your life if implemented, In sha Allah.

Valentines Day: Can Muslims Celebrate it?

Islam encourages people to be loving and peaceful. If that is so, then some of us can think that Valentines Day is a day when Muslims can spread love and peace among themselves. So why is it prohibited in Islam to celebrate Valentines Day? or, often people thing, can Muslims celebrate valentine day? Before coming to this, let’s have a look at what ‘Valentines Day’ is:
    The History behind Valentines Day
Valentines Day or the Festival of Love was one of the festivals of the pagan Romans, They used to celebrate this event in mid-February each year with a big festival.

Ruling on celebrating valentines day in Islam........

    Praise be to Allaah.
    Firstly:
Valentine’s Day is a jaahili Roman festival, which continued to be celebrated until after the Romans became Christian. This festival became connected with the saint known as Valentine who was sentenced to death on 14 February 270 CE. The kuffaar still celebrate this festival, during which immorality and evil are practised widely.
    Secondly:
It is not permissible for a Muslim to celebrate any of the festivals of the kuffaar, because festivals come under the heading of shar’i issues which are to be based on the sound texts.
Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyah (may Allaah have mercy on him) said: Festivals are part of sharee’ah, clear way and rituals of which Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning):
“To each among you, We have prescribed a law and a clear way”
    [al-Maa’idah 5:48]
“For every nation We have ordained religious ceremonies which they must follow”
    [al-Hajj 22:67]

Waking up under the surgeon's knife

Canadian Donna Penner was relaxed at the prospect of abdominal surgery - until she woke up just before the surgeon made his first incision. She describes how she survived the excruciating pain of being operated on while awake.
In 2008, I was booked in for an exploratory laparoscopy at a hospital in my home province of Manitoba in Canada. I was 44 and I had been experiencing heavy bleeding during my periods.
I'd had a general anaesthetic before and I knew I was supposed to have one for this procedure. I'd never had a problem with them, but when we got to the hospital I found myself feeling quite anxious.
During a laparoscopy, the surgeon makes incisions into your abdomen through which they will push instruments so they can take a look around. You have three or four small incisions instead of one big one.

    Do Before You Travel –part-2

Be sure to get a passport as soon as possible. Passports are valid for 10 years, though some countries will not accept passports that will expire within a year. To get a passport.
While you probably want to book your accommodations well before you arrive, Usually take care of the more time-consuming tasks first, then turn attention to accommodations.
Generally look for alternative, budget-friendly options such as home stays, apartment rentals and camping grounds through sites like. Sometimes, if I can't find affordable, acceptable options ahead of time, I'll arrive without any at all and get help on the ground finding a place to stay. While my husband and I traveled around Asia, we would arrive without a place to stay and check into a guest house — basically, a nicer version of a hostel where you can get a private room for about $10 — and decide which city to visit next.

The gratefulness to Allah Taala......A life study

Islam is the complete code of life.If you enter in this life you will find unbound prosperity and happiness in your life. Most of the creation The sahee Al-quran is one of them.If you read the Al-Quran you will gather knowledge which cant be describe.
Allah Taala says in Sura Al-Mulk:
It is He Who has created you and made you grow, and made for you the faculties of hearing, seeing, feeling and understanding: little thanks it is ye give. In
    Suratul-Al Bakarah:
2:152 Then do all of you remember Me- I will remember you. Be grateful to Me, and reject not Faith.

The Islamic term Shokrr can be translated as gratefulness or thankfulness. It is such a comprehensive term that it can be viewed as another name for Islam. It is opposite of Kufor mean ingratitude.

    Sins..........big and small

Abstaining From the Greater Sins Cause the Lesser Sins to be Overlooked

If one avoids the Greater Sins, the Lesser sins shall be overlooked. Allah, the Almighty, by His grace, excuses the Lesser sins. As it is mentioned in the following verse of the Holy Quran :
“If you shun the Greater Sins which you are forbidden, We will do away with your smaller sins and cause you to enter an honorable place of entering.” (Surah an-Nisā’ 4: 31)

The Gates of Paradise are Open for the Pious

The Holy Prophet (S) is reported to have said,
“I swear by Allah, in Whose power is my life, there is not a single person who prays five times a day, fasts during the month of Ramadhan and abstains from sins that the gates of Paradise will not be opened for him.”

After this he recited the Qur’anic verse quoted above.

    Greater Sin….2:(Despair)

    Despair

The second Greater Sin is to despair of the Mercy of Allah (S.w.T.). “Al-yā-so Min Rūhallah” (To despair of the Rūh of Allah) Rūh: according to the dictionary means a breeze that pleases and comforts. Those who do not believe in the Power, the Mercy and Bounty of Allah (S.w.T.), develop a kind of despair. The Holy Qur’an has termed such people as Unbelievers (Kafir).
“...and despair not of Allah’s Mercy; surely none despairs of Allah’s Mercy except the unbelieving people.” (Surah Yūsuf 12:87)
The Holy Imams, Imam Ja’far as-Sadiq (a.s.), Imam Musa Kadhim (a.s.), Imam Muhammad Taqi (a.s.) have classified “despairing of the Mercy of Allah (S.w.T.)”, to be a Greater Sin; as we have mentioned at the beginning.

    The Greatest Sin After ‘Shirk’

After ‘Shirk’ no sin could be greater than to despair of Allah (S.w.T.)’s mercy and benevolence. This attitude reduces a person to a state of utter hopelessness. He imagines himself to be destined for Hell, and therefore he sees no benefit in doing good and avoiding evil. Consequently he tries to achieve as much worldly pleasure as possible and thus gets further involved in all kinds of sinful acts. Any other type of sinner could be pardoned if he repents. But the one who despairs does not deserve to be pardoned because the mental condition of such a person does not lead him towards repentance, but instead, induces him to continue to commit further acts of transgression against Allah (S.w.T.)’s commands.

    Greater Sin...1: Shirk (Polytheism)

Shirk (Polytheism: To associate anyone or anything with Allah (S.w.T.))

The first of the Greater Sins is to associate anyone or anything with Allah (S.w.T.). That is to attribute partners to Allah (S.w.T.). Regarding Shirk we have received clear traditions from the Holy Prophet (S) as well as Hazrat ‘Ali (a.s.), Imam Ja’far as-Sadiq (a.s.), Imam al-Kadhim (a.s.), Imam Riďa (a.s.) and Imam Jawad (a.s.).
    Imam Ja’far as-Sadiq (a.s.) says:
“The greatest of the Greater Sins is to attribute partners to Allah.”
The following verse of the Holy Qur’an asserts:

“Surely Allah does not forgive that anything should be associated with him, and forgives what is besides that to whomsoever He pleases, and whoever associates anything with Allah, he devises indeed a great sin.” (Surah an-Nisā’ 4:48)
It means that whoever dies as a polytheist, there is no chance of his salvation. Although Allah (S.w.T.) may forgive any of those who have committed any other sin. Allah (S.w.T.) says:

    Toothache ?? no way.........

    Toothache ??
Toothaches can vary greatly, from mild soreness to an unbearable throbbing pain in your teeth or around your jaws. Some of the main causes of toothaches are cavities, an infection, an exposed tooth root, a cracked tooth, gum disease, a loose filling, or jaw joint disorder.
A toothache (see the above diagram) happens when the central region of the tooth, known as the pulp, becomes irritated or inflamed. The pulp consists of several nerve endings that are highly sensitive. Pulp can become inflamed or irritated for many reasons, some of which are noted above.
If you have toothache, it is best to seek immediate advice from a dentist before the problem worsens. You can also try some natural remedies to relieve the pain temporarily.
    Garlic
    1. Use of garlic can also provide immense relief from toothache. Garlic has antibiotic and othMix a crushed garlic clove (or garlic powder) with some table salt or black salt and apply it directly on the affected tooth to alleviate the pain. If you prefer, you can chew one or two cloves of garlic to get relief.
    2. Repeat this natural treatment for a few days.

    Greater Sin….5: Murder

    Murder
The fifth Greater Sin is the murder of that person whose execution has not been ordered by Allah (S.w.T.) and the Holy Prophet (S). Traditions which confirm that murder is a Greater Sin have already been mentioned at the beginning. Moreover the verses of the Holy Qur’an mention clearly the Divine punishment for the murderers.
“And whoever kills a believer intentionally, his punishment is Hell; he shall abide in it, and Allah will send His wrath on him and curse him and prepare for him a painful chastisement.” (Surah an-Nisā’ 4:93)
Five types of punishments have been ordained for those who kill the believers. First, Hell; Second, Eternal abode in Hell; Third, involvement in the Divine wrath; Fourth, being the accursed by Allah (S.w.T.); Fifth, the Great Chastisement.
Permanent Chastisement is Exclusively For unbelievers
One of the beliefs of the Shia Ithna Ashari school of thought is that eternal punishment is only for the Kuffar (Unbelievers). In other words, if a person dies in belief, he will not remain under punishment forever, even if he has killed a believer (or someone else whose killing has been prohibited according to the Divine command), or even though he has committed other greater sins. Hence the verse mentioned above has been explained in various ways. One possible explanation is that: one becomes eligible for eternal punishment only if he murders the believer because of his Imān (belief). If such is the case, then, the killer is indeed liable for everlasting chastisement, for he considered the murder of a Mu’min as Halāl, whereas it is Harām. To consider a murder of a believer Harām is an article of faith. Consequently one who does not have this belief is a Kafir.

Greater Sin...4 (Disregard of Allah (S.w.T.)’s punishment)

Heedlessness to Allah (S.w.T.)’s Anger and Retribution

One of the Greater Sins is a total disregard for Divine punishment. The person is fearless of the unseen retribution and scoffs at the idea of being punished for his actions. He lives blissfully in a world of material comforts and does not realize that he is fettered down by his sins. This is a Greater Sin. The Holy Imams, Imam Ja’far as-Sadiq (a.s.), Imam Musa Kadhim (a.s.) and Imam Riďa (a.s.) have classified the fearlessness of Allah (S.w.T.)’s punishment among the Greater Sins. The Qur’an announces:
“What! do the people of the towns then feel secure from Our punishment coming to them by night while they are asleep?” (Surah al-Ar’āf 7:97)
“What! do the people of the towns feel secure from Our punishment coming to them in the morning while they play?” (Surah al-Ar’āf 7:98)
“What! do they feel secure from Allah’s plan? But none feels secure from Allah’s plan except the people who shall perish.” (Surah al-Ar’āf 7:99)

These Three verses clearly prohibit the fearlessness of the punishment of Allah (S.w.T.). The last verse mentions that those who do not fear Allah (S.w.T.)’s punishment would be losers in the hereafter. Divine retribution will be their lot on the Day of Judgement, as will be the fate of the unbelievers and the non-repentant sinners.

    Greater Sin......6: Disobedience to parents

Those Who Are Disobedient to Their Parents
Thesixth Greater Sin is to be disobedient to one’s parents as expressly mentioned in the traditions from the Holy Prophet (S) and the Pure Imams (a.s.). These have already been quoted in the first chapter. A tradition of the Prophet (S) says that the greatest sins are Shirk and to be disobedient to one’s parents. The seriousness of disobedience to parents as a Greater sin can be gauged from the fact that the Holy Prophet (S) has mentioned it along with Shirk which is the greatest of all Greater sins, and unforgiveable. “Āq” is a sin, the punishment of which is promised in the Qur’an and the traditions.
The words of Hazrat Isa (a.s.) as quoted by the Qur’an are:
“And dutiful to my mother, and He has not made me insolent, unblessed.” (Surah Mariyam 19:32)
As Isa (a.s.) did not have a father, his mother is alone mentioned. In the same Surah, both the father and mother of Hazrat Yahya (a.s.) are mentioned.
Both the verses mention Three characteristics of the disobedient child (Āq al-Walidayn ).

Why Allah has created us ?

Those who believe in the Creator can answer the questions: where from? And where to? They know that they have come intoexistence by being created by the Creator and they also know that there is an eternal life after death. But what about the answer to the third question, that is: why have we been created? If we had been created by the Creator, shouldn’t we expect that He would tell us the purpose of our creation? Shouldn’t He tell us on what basis He is going to judge us on the Day of Judgment?
    What is the Islamic view?
Muslims say they know the answers because they have the Quran. But people of other religions also have their own scriptures, so what is so special about the Quran? The Quran is basically a book of divine guidance in areas that cannot be covered by the human senses or intellect, such as faith, acts of worship, a moral code and a code that governs the transactions between people. These are the four basic foundations of religion, an area in which man always needs divine guidance. Muslims contend that the Quran is the last revealed scripture by Allah (Allah is the proper name of God and is not used to denote any other being. Therefore, I shall use the name Allah in preference to the

    Violence in garments.....A philosophical study

    26-12-2016.......By honorable Shahidul Sir.........
Sitting idle is really painful, had a practical experience at last week, due to illegal / illogical workers unrest on Ashulia industrial belt. Day passed like a month. But at the period of working, can’t understand – how passing the day, month & year.
Anyway, thanks a lot to our government to take an excellent initiative to make the situation cool.
Meanwhile, some of the owners are already losses hundreds crore taka each day of unrest/ shut down.
Ultimately these are the loss for our country / for us.
Despite that, I am thanking to our honorable workers, as they realized their mistake & come back to the work.
Here someone can ask: how it was illegal / illogical?
Answer: The minimum wage was hiked three years ago, and the law allows the entrepreneurs not to revise pay in five years from a revision. So just after 3 years, suchlike of unrest is totally illegal / illogical. Actually unrest is always illegal. But there is some legal way to raise any-one’s voice/opinion.

    How to keep fit ??....part-1

    How to keep fit ??

Breaking exercise into small chunks on your over scheduled days can also keep your confidence up, since skipping it altogether can make you feel tired, guilty, or depressed. Keep in mind, though, that short bursts of exercise are meant to supplement, not replace, your regular fitness routine.

Here are simple, practical ways to work exercise into your day even when you're short on ti Experts recommend working out 45 minutes to an hour a day (30 minutes for beginners) for weight loss and fitness. But if you're like most women, you don't always have a block of 30 to 60 minutes a day to devote exclusively to doing your workouts.

Lest you think that short bursts of activity have a negligible effect on your fitness program, think again. One study found that women who split their exercise into 10-minute increments were more likely to exercise consistently, and lost more weight after five months, than women who exercised for 20 to 40 minutes at a time.

'life after death' What science says?

Death is a depressingly inevitable consequence of life, but now scientists believe they may have found some light at the end of the tunnel.
The largest ever medical study into near-death and out-of-body experiences has discovered that some awareness may continue even after the brain has shut down completely.

It is a controversial subject which has, until recently, been treated with widespread scepticism.
But scientists at the University of Southampton have spent four years examining more than 2,000 people who suffered cardiac arrests at 15 hospitals in the UK, US and Austria.
    • Dead could be brought back to life in groundbreaking project
And they found that nearly 40 per cent of people who survived described some kind of ‘awareness’ during the time when they were clinically dead before their hearts were restarted.
One man even recalled leaving his body entirely and watching his resuscitation from the corner of the room.
Despite being unconscious and ‘dead’ for three minutes, the 57-year-old social worker from Southampton, recounted the actions of the nursing staff in detail and described the sound of the machines.
“We know the brain can’t function when the heart has stopped beating,” said Dr Sam Parnia, a former research fellow at Southampton University, now at the State University of New York, who led the study.

Be positive. Employers do not want to hear a litany of excuses or bad feelings about a negative experience. If you are asked about a low grade, a sudden job change, or a weakness in your background, don’t be defensive. Focus instead on the facts (briefly) and emphasize what you learned from the experience.

    Greater sin......7

    Breaking up relations

The seventh Greater Sin is Qat’a ar-Rahm, the breaking up of relations with one’s kith and kin. This is clearly verified by Imam Ja’far as-Sadiq (a.s.) as well as Imam Musa al-Kadhim (a.s.), Imam ‘Ali ar-Riďa (a.s.) and Imam Muhammad al-Taqi (a.s.). The Qur’an has also decreed Hell-fire and the curse of Allah (S.w.T.) upon those who cut off ties with their relatives.
    Imam Ja’far as-Sadiq (a.s.) says:
“Beware of those who cut off relations because I have found them cursed thrice in the Qur’an.”
    1) Whoever break the covenant of Allah after its confirmation and cut asunder what Allah has ordered to be joined, and make mischief in the land, these it is that are the losers. (Surah al-Baqarah, 2:27)
In the Qur’anic terminology when the word Khāsir (loser) is used it denotes the one who is to be in loss, or rather the one who is cursed.

    Greater Sin...3 (Despondence)

In the tradition from Imam Riďa (a.s.) where he has listed the Greater Sins, despondence is mentioned after despair (Yās). Qunut (despondence) is described as the condition where one’s heart loses hope of Allah (S.w.T.)’s Mercy and that person does not even dislike the hopelessness. According to the religious scholars the difference between Yās and Qunut is that the term ‘Yās’ is used in general cases and ‘Qunut’ in special cases. It means that ‘Yās’ describes the internal condition of one’s heart. When this internal hopelessness intensifies to a degree whereby its effect becomes manifest outwardly and seem obvious to the common people, it is called ‘Qunut’.

In short whoever expresses hopelessness by his speech or actions is actually a victim of ‘Qunut’.

    Huzzin Azeem

(41:31) We are your companions in this world and in the Hereafter. There you shall have all that you desire and all what you will ask for.
(41:32) This is by way of hospitality from Him Who is Most Forgiving, Most Merciful.”
(41:33) And who is fairer in speech than he who calls to Allah and acts righteously and says: “I am a Muslim”?
(41:34) (O Prophet), good and evil are not equal. Repel (evil) with that which is good, and you will see that he, between whom and you there was enmity, shall become as if he were a bosom friend (of yours)

    Surah Al-Fatehah

    Surah Al-Fathiha
From: Towards Understanding the Quran by Abul Ala Maududi
    بِسۡمِ اللهِ الرَّحۡمٰنِ الرَّحِيۡمِ
(1:1) In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate1
1 One of the many practices taught by Islam is that its followers should begin their activities in the name of God. This principle, if consciously and earnestly followed, will necessarily yield three beneficial results. First, one will be able to restrain oneself from many misdeed, since the habit of pronouncing the name of God is bound to make one wonder when about to commit some offence how such an act can be reconciled with the saying of God's holy name. Second, if a man pronounces the name of God before starting good and legitimate tasks, this act will ensue that both his starting point and his mental orientation are sound. Third - and this is the most important benefit - when a man begins something by pronouncing God's name, he will enjoy God's support and succour; God will bless his efforts and protect him from the machinations and temptation of Satan. For whenever man turns to God, God turns to him as well.

    Surah Luqman 31:12-19

Allah Subhanahu wa T'ala says in the Holy Quran:

(31:12) We had bestowed wisdom on Luqman that he may be grateful to Allah. Whoever is grateful, his gratefulness is for his own good, and whoever is ungrateful, then Allah is indeed Self-Sufficient and Self-Praiseworthy.

(31:13) Remember the time when Luqman was admonishing his son, saying, "My son, join not another as an associate with God: the truth is that joining associates (with God) is a grave iniquity."
(31:14) And the fact is that We have Ourself enjoined on man to recognize the rights of his parents: his mother bore him in her womb with weakness upon weakness and his weaning took two years. That is why We admonished him to the effect: "Give thanks to me and to your parents: to Me you have to return.
